Two different people flown to hospital after drive on Kaipara Coast Highway

Two different people are in a serious condition after a single-car crash on Kaipara Coast Road.

The car reportedly rendered the road on a bend and could be, end on end, through bush in advance of when ending up in a paddock.

No one was trapped.

A police spokesperson said the very incident happened between Omaumau Rd and Ogle Rd.

Auckland Rescue Copter Trust pilot James Tayler discussed they landed in a paddock under the road.

“The car / truck had obviously come through a regarding fairly thick hedges and wood … it was in pretty less than ideal condition, dented all over. It might look like it had rolled end over last part down the bank scattering contents across the paddock. ”
