Neighborhood tragedies: Man injured in ride-on lawnmower accident in Morrinsville suitable after Waipukurau death

A man has been seriously injured in a ride-on lawnmower accident to rural property in Morrinsville this afternoon – the second serious farm mishap today.

Cop and St John were acknowledged to Kiwitahi Railway Rd, Morrinsville, shortly after 5pm today.

Police would not provide a physical condition status for the man in the difficulty at this stage.

An individual died this morning after a single-vehicle crash on a rural property near Waipukurau.

Emergency businesses were called at 11. 30am after a four-wheel drive farm vehicle folded.

Medical assistance is provided but the person died at all the scene.

The Serious Vehicle accident Unit and Worksafe NZ were being notified.
