Travelers, trampers urged to pack a complete smoke alarm

Fire and Emergency is contacting campers heading to the beach and untill great outdoors, to pack a light up alarm along with their sleeping gear.

Pete Gallagher, each of our National Fire Risk adviser, proclaims hanging a smoke alarm in an exceedingly tent or caravan is simple – and they’re light to carry from a pack.

“This is an essential life safety toy. This isn’t taking a queen-sized water base on your camping trip. This is around a life safety feature that is going to keep you, your family and loved ones safe. lunch break

Gallagher relates smoke alarms mounted on velcro can become taken down to cook, but should be put back up once cooking stench clear.

He admits that anywhere people sleep, there should be any kind of smoke alarm.
