A man keeps died while diving in the Catlins this afternoon.
Police was called to near Owaka Scalps, south of Balclutha, about midday after the diver became separated at the hands of others in his party.
The man was found about 1 . 40pm.
He was unable to be revived and was evident dead at the scene.
The death will be referred to often the Coroner.
