Jhh Day tragedy: Diver has expired at Pourerere Beach, Central Hawke’s Bay

A person has died while diving upon Pourerere Beach in Central Hawke’s Bay.

Law enforcement department were called to Pourerere Beach destination about 8. 50am on Ending friday.

A cop spokeswoman said medical assistance was gave, but the person died at the stage.

Central Hawke’s Bay District Council shared a person’s “deep respect and sympathy” marriage tragic death.

A council spokeswoman said ones mana whenua placed a rahui from Pauanui Beach to Aramoana Beach for five days.
