‘Billowing smoke’: Crews called to Wellington fire at Victoria Uni’s Karori campus

The fire was in a two-storey engineering

Fire broke out on Victoria University’s Karori campus correct.

Fire and Sudden NZ said they sent 6 appliances to the campus, after different calls from 3. 17pm.

The two-level education period on the university campus is about tough luck metres by 11 metres, each emergency service said.

The fire is now out and deck hands will dampen hot spots and watch for the area.
