Christchurch woman Chantel Anderson jailed on kidnapping and shooting terror

Chantel Elaine Anderson wasn’t happy and reached to the gun.

Her flatmate was late returning her sports car. She fumed. And when he had finally show up, $600 of book money was missing; he says, thieved.

Anderson wasn’t looking it. Not happy, not happy at all. My mom wanted vengeance and thought the woman “rich” parents would cough up.

A tribunal at Christchurch District Court a few weeks back found her guilty.

And today, she was jailed for over six years by a judge weltgesundheitsorganisation described her crimes as premeditated and frightening.

Most of the court heard that air firearm pellets have been taken from the victim’s abdomen, hip, shoulder joint, 3-bolt fragments from an elbow joint, usually metallic pellet removed from his head.

He told Judge Brian Callaghan that Anderson is now clean of drugs and trying to turn her life all across.

Magistrate Callaghan said it was hard to know exactly how many times the victim were originally shot. The victim thinks about 12-15 times, while Anderson texted someone to say she’d shot him even more than 20 times.

“Clearly there were a number of pellets removed from most of the victim, ” the judge rumoured, calling it a “revenge” attempt and required a stiff arrest term.
