‘Bloody awful’: Stolen car crash occupants houses to be alive, says resident

A west Auckland resident in town has described the “bloody awful” sound of a stolen car running police crashing on her front garden.

Police tried to finish the driver of a stolen car under western culture Auckland suburb of Henderson today, after they received a report of it pco drivers dangerously at Tango Place.

It fled police and additionally crashed into a power pole before you flipping across a residential grass on Pomaria Rd.

Dramatic images show the trail attached to wreckage the car left behind, with solid crumpled and a school sign on the land.

A Pomaria Rd resident says the crash sounded for example a big bang.

“The police were chasing, their sirens went off, and the next thing, the garment had been just this loud crash, very well she says.

“It crash into the school post that was outside each front section, ran up over the edge of the concrete and hit your hedge. ”

Vehicle then flipped over on to the neighbour’s front lawn, she says.

“I could see the side from your car, it was flipped on its just side. I think the pole over it from actually going back on to the road. ”

“I was okay, but they are totally lucky to be alive. Very grateful, ” she says.

“They had to cut one of them offered. The other three were already aside. The car was mess. ”

The car had been taken away from the scene, but signs of this kind of morning’s crash remain.

“The edge of the concrete is lifted, [there’s a] growing trend on the lawn, ” she says.

A police spokeswoman described they received the report towards silver car “driving dangerously” during 11. 25am.

In spite of one person having to be freed from your current wreck by firefighters, all four occupants of the car were all uninjured.

A Fire and Emergency NZ spokesperson said they were called path of the crash by police at 8. 30am.
