One dead after Hamilton crash

One person has died after a crash in Hamilton.

Emergency services were called to the three-car crash on Bankwood Rd at 11.19am.

A moderately injured person was taken to Waikato hospital by St John ambulance staff.

Bankwood Rd is expected to remain closed for several hours while the Serious Crash Unit examines the scene.
