Public investigating double tragedy on SH1 near Moerewa as deceased namely

A police investigation is underway into a three-car smash near Moerewa on Monday night which reported the lives of two Northlanders.

They were Maudie Dianne Pickering, aged 64, combined with Iharaira Trevon Maxi Hoterene-Rakete, wrinkled 25. Both were from the Whangārei area.

Typically the crash occurred about 9. 45pm on State Highway 1 along the eastern end of Taumatamakuku Arrangement, a short distance from the Affco icing works.
