Looked squad to join search after keiner goes missing following swim on the inside Canterbury’s Waimakariri River

A man proceeded to go missing after swimming in Canterbury’s Waimakariri River.

Police force were called when the man’s your friends could not find him after your man went swimming near the Waimakariri Fill.

Despite police searching for the river with help through your Kaiapoi Coastguard on Saturday night, the man could not be found.

The 5-0 National Dive Squad has been flown too the area and is expected to join our own search tomorrow.

Public said anyone with information about the incident ought to phone 105 and quote recording number 210130/5446.
