Southlanders warned of flooding, more a storm to come

Any kind of a flood warning is in place available for Southland after heavy rain.

Environment Southland have started up their flood warning as a care.

The Southland Subdivision Council has reported isolated eyes flooding on the central Southland block network.

Meanwhile, more motoring closures have Clutha’s district authorities about to put up permanent warning problems at flood-prone Kelso.

Service manager Jules Witt says flooding is a known possibility, except Google Maps often diverts unmindful drivers to the area when area highways are closed.

He says the whole town has gone as a result of flooding, but roads still have helpful closed about three times a year.
