Auckland drive-by shooting: Multiple shots terminated at Mt Roskill house

Police are investigating a drive-by shooting in a central Auckland suburbia in the early hours of this morning.

Authorities were also known as to McCullough Ave, in Mt Roskill, about 1 . 45am.

“There was a number of shots fired – stimulating damage to vehicles in a driveway together with windows of [a] house, ” Detective Sergeant Glenn Baldwin said.

No company was injured at the property attached.

Baldwin said top indications are that the incident is definitely “not random”.

“Police are continuing to make inquiries, including a scene examination and addressing a number of different people. ”

Police are asking anyone the Mt Roskill area who may have tried any suspicious activity overnight to get hold of the Auckland City Crime Group immediately.
