A 22-year-old woman has been requested in relation to a firearms incident you get in Papatoetoe in which a person continous serious injuries.

The injured person was taken to hospital just before 7pm after cops were called to the Tui Rd address.

It had been reported there had been an current firearms incident.

Police said today inquiries have ongoing to determine the circumstances around the unpleasant incident and a woman would appear in tribunal tomorrow.

“She is due to appear in the Manukau Séparation Court tomorrow on charges ture of wounding with intent to injure and simply unlawfully carrying a firearm, in a police spokesperson said.

“One person goes on in Middlemore Hospital in a sound condition. ”
