Fire-drama cargo ship these Kota Bahagia remains at Napier Port with its immediate future unconfirmed after a fire which erupted bad hold on Friday.
Port communications staff said make waves instruments is working with the Transport Choc Investigation Commission, Fire and An urgent situation NZ and Maritime New Zealand while investigations continue.
The 161-metre, Singapore-registered craft berthed on Thursday, was to keep departed on Sunday morning, and it is currently listed on the Port’s shipping program as having what is understood to be an absolute nominal new departure date within next Sunday.
Asked if the ship is in seagoing condition and how long it is likely for you to in port, the staff said the website would update the situation when it fluctuations – “likely to be later which week”.
