Body exercise found: Auckland businesswoman had been waiting to life with new partner

At the (Ying) Zhong was a grandmother who was simply looking forward to living her life with her new partner, a friend told the most important Herald.

A physical body believed to be that of the 55-year-old sector woman reported missing from Counties Manukau East was found the past afternoon.

Police said identification of the body was yet to acquire confirmed, but the death was being managed as unexplained and an investigation ended up being launched.

Detective Inspector Shaun Vickers said a post-mortem would be conducted today and police would provide further information when possible.

The Herald understand Zhong seemed to be a close associate of the late Jihong Lu, and had been in talks with this controversial theatre promoter in the early stages about being part of the failed City of a hundred Lovers production.

Zhong had also been active in managing investors from China, and host proceeding to delegations – such as one from the Shanxi that came in 2018 to at vineyards she owned.

Zhong was a businesswoman at multiple company directorships. She was regarded as reported missing from her Sunnyhills home and was last tried on Friday afternoon.

Zhong had had health conditions recently, and was the sole owner and also director of two wine-making specialists now in receivership – Kennedy Point Vineyard on Waiheke Island as Carrick Wines in Central Otago.

She was also sole auto owner and director of film making it possible for company Digital Post Ltd, Digipost Entertainment and associated companies.

Digipost offers computer animation or graphics, film post production, voice mixing and visual effects.

Credits the company had been involved with name Mosely, Ash versus Evil Pop, Mt Zion, Spartacus, Love Avian species and 30 Days of Night.

Its website states: “Digipost is New Zealand’s most been subjected to post production and visual effects group} dedicated to bringing to life the originative endeavours of our clients, delivering the best services to the film, advertising and computer industries. ”

As part of 2018, Variety reported that Zhong and Digipost were part of a new “three-way development and finance deal” with Tim White’s Southern Light weight Films and Super Entertainment as for live action-CGI fantasy film Shelved worth up to $56 million.

Variety reported the movie was ready “two slacker robots who bug about being replaced by humans”. The movie, which included the involvement of NZ-born director of Shrek, Claire Adamson – would be a New Zealand-China co-production.

Police are continuing for appeal for information over Zhong’s loss of life. People are asked to call one hundred and five, quoting file number 201128/1909, and also Counties Manukau Police on 09 2611 321 if they have further information.
