Unarmed police stop vehicles in Auckland after person reported to be using firearm

Armed police stopped car models in Kumeu this afternoon looking for a traveller reportedly carrying a firearm.

Police were called towards a house on Coatesville-Riverhead Highway, Kumeu, around 4. 30pm to annotation of a person acting suspiciously as well being armed.
