Fire crews attend a fire that started in a power box on Reflection Pressure, West Harbour. Video / Leader Purcell

Fire teams have raced to put out a blaze you did sparked in an electrical box during a suburban street in northwest Auckland.

The fire has knocked out power to homes in Look Dr and Horizon Way in Western side Harbour.

Power producer Vector estimates electricity will be renovated to the area between 4. 15pm-5. 15pm.

Earlier, fire crews found the blaze on Reflection Plus much more and used hand-held extinguishers to manage it.

However , the fire couldn’t be put out until Vector shut off the power supply to the penalty area.

It was not yet immediately clear of the fact that fire started, but a parents told a Herald journalist your girlfriend power was flickering on and off a minute or two before it started.
